WRIGHT MANUFACTURING  SERVICES LIMITED

The Pittler N1 is a front operated, modular platform, smaller series machine offering turning, drilling, thread cutting, spot facing, milling, grinding as well as hard-polishing and burnishing in a single, integrated machine solution. The total flexibility of the N1 series, as well as other Pittler derivatives, enables many configurations of spindles / slide-ways from a single spindle lathe to a full 4-spindle / 2 cross-slide machining centre.

PV SL N1 PLATFORM MACHINES

The PV3 series, 3rd generation, of well-proven PV vertical spindle machines offer turning capacities from 315mm up to 1600mm in diameter with an optional Y-axis to accommodate  more complex machining requirements as a 5-axis machining centre. PV machines are an ideal choice for the rapidly growing market in Wind Energy industry being used for manufacture of rotating parts (annuli, planets etc.) With multi-spindle, multi-slide and pendulum configurations all being available.

PV3 SERIES TURNING CENTRES

The additional range of PV3 series machines, the HDC version, is a large scale heavy duty cutting machine for component diameters from 2000mm to 5 metres. Capable of heavy machining (chip sections up to 20mm) as well as fine and/or hard machining. Typical components for this machine will include ring-rolled, forged or open die forged bearings, flanges, pinions and planetary gearing, as well as castings such as planet carriers and housings.
